President of EUPHA’s Health and Care Workforce Section, Governing Board member and member of the Advisory Board of the EUPHA President. Served on EHMA’s Board of Directors from 2024 to 2026. Collaboration with the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER).

OASES · EU-funded research

Improving access to care

Addressing medical deserts and access to care in rural and underserved communities.

Led the pilot studies and coordinated the Babeș-Bolyai team in OASES. The project explored skill mix, task shifting, e-health, and recruitment and retention policies. Extensive experience developing and implementing projects under EU4Health and its predecessor, Horizon Europe and Erasmus+.

Developing digital and green skills for Europe’s health and care workforce.

Coordinates the Babeș-Bolyai team in BeWell, a 24-partner alliance across 11 countries building a European strategy, curricula and training on digital and green skills.

Responding to ageing populations, workforce shortages and the sustainability of health and care systems.

Coordinates Babeș-Bolyai’s participation in the European Partnership on Transforming Health and Care Systems. These challenges are closely shared with Japan, creating a meaningful foundation for collaboration.
